One Milestone Opens at Harvard’s Enterprise Research Campus

One Milestone at Harvard University’s Enterprise Research Campus in Allston, Massachusetts, designed by Studio Gang and Henning Larsen with Arrowstreet, is now open. The approximately 510,000-square-foot life sciences research and development complex is a key component of the Enterprise Research Campus, a mixed-use innovation district developed by Tishman Speyer and Breakthrough Properties in partnership with Harvard Allston Land Company. Designed with landscape architecture by SCAPE, the two-building complex features flexible laboratory environments, collaborative amenities, cascading terraces, and a transparent central connector that strengthens connections between the buildings and the surrounding public realm. The project incorporates high-performance enclosure systems, expansive glazing, and sustainable design strategies to support occupant wellness, adaptability, and long-term operational performance. Our team collaborated with the design team to develop the building envelope in support of the project’s performance, constructability, and architectural objectives.
