La Presse Features Théâtre Maisonneuve Rehabilitation Announcement
La Presse features the public announcement and rendering release of the Théâtre Maisonneuve project at the Place des Arts performing arts complex in Montreal. Front is collaborating with Atelier TAG et Neuf Architectes en Consortium on the facade repositioning of the historic Brutalist building.
Front’s scope includes upgrading the aging precast facade at the Piano Nobile while preserving its original architectural character, as well as modernizing the storefront systems to enhance activation along both Sainte-Catherine and Saint-Urbain streets. The plaza area serves as the public interface of the cultural complex, with facade improvements aimed at increasing durability and environmental performance while presenting a clear and well-maintained appearance in a high-traffic setting.
Renovations are scheduled to begin in April and be completed in 2028.
