The Khalil Gibran International Academy (KGIA) is dual-language English-Arabic public high school positioned along the Flatbush Avenue side of The Alloy Block—a community-centered megaproject that includes residential, educational, office, cultural, and retail spaces. The Academy sits adjacent to The Elizabeth Jennings School for Bold Explorers, P.S. 456. Designed to meet energy-efficiency standards and serve as a model for future City educational facilities, both schools are New York City’s first Passive House–designed public schools and support a healthy, dynamic learning environment with shared recreational spaces, auditoriums, and kitchen facilities.

Front consulted on both the Khalil Gibran International Academy and The Elizabeth Jennings School for Bold Explorers projects in addition to The Alloy Block’s two residential towers, 505 State Street and One Third Avenue.
