Thomas Phifer and Partners Reimagines the Façade of TR Warszawa

TR Warszawa, the new headquarters for one of Poland’s leading contemporary theatres, is set to feature a revised façade design by Thomas Phifer and Partners, developed in collaboration with APA Wojciechowski Architekci. Located on Plac Defilad in Warsaw, adjacent to the Museum of Modern Art, the project will replace its originally proposed black façade with a lighter-colored exterior intended to reduce construction costs and environmental impact while creating a more harmonious relationship with the neighboring museum. Supported by our team as façade consultants, the project will bring together performance, rehearsal, and educational spaces within a new cultural destination designed to strengthen the surrounding public realm. The theatre is currently scheduled to open in 2029.
