The Taichung Green Museumbrary Unveils New Design
The new Taichung Green Museumbrary, designed by SANAA with Ricky Liu & Associates, is set to become a significant cultural landmark for Taichung, uniting the city’s art museum and public library within a single, fluid architectural framework. Front served as façade consultant on the project, providing technical design and engineering support for the building’s dual-layer exterior envelope, which combines a high-performance façade system with an outer veil of perforated metal mesh to balance transparency, shading, and structural efficiency. Through close collaboration with the design team, Front helped realize a refined façade expression that supports the project’s emphasis on openness, environmental responsiveness, and seamless integration with the surrounding park landscape.
