New York YIMBY features the New Museum Expansion’s facade installation

New York YIMBY features the facade installation of the New Museum’s seven-story expansion currently underway in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Front is collaborating on the project with OMA and Cooper Robertson. The 61,000 sq ft structure will complement the New Museum’s SANAA-designed iconic building on the Bowery with additional gallery space, an atrium stair, and new spaces for artist residencies and public programming. The New Museum will open the expansion in Fall 2025.
