Tea Stone Pavilion, Osulloc Tea Museum / 2013
ArchitectMinsuk Cho - Mass Studies
This minimal pavilion appears to rise from the landscape, emerging from the dark volcanic rock of the region. It cantilevers out of the ground on one side, while perfectly aligning with the surface of a reflecting pool on the other side. The structure, which is affiliated with the Osulloc Tea Museum, plays with the contrast between opaque black concrete walls and transparent glass. Front consulted on the enclosure from schematic design through construction document phases.
