Princeton, NJ, USA
Architect
Architecture Research Office

This addition links two wings of the original, 1963 School of Architecture building, unifying the program and creating a more complete circulation sequence. In addition to circulatory spaces, the new enclosure also provides a lobby and student lounge areas. The enclosure consists of large insulated glass panels, which feature varying densities of ceramic silk-screened striations on different solar exposures. Front collaborated with the design team, from schematic design through construction administration, on the enclosure design, interior glass balustrades and glass partition walls.
