New Court Rothschild Bank

Designed by OMA, New Court is the London Headquarters of NM Rothschild & Sons Bank. Elevated above the medieval city center site, the primary volume of the building features a landscaped roof terrace and a distinctive unitized curtain wall, composed of structural steel columns encapsulated within the exterior mullions and visually expressed diagonal lateral bracing. The secondary volume features a double skin active façade, which provides ten floors of office space with a highly insulated cavity and natural ventilation, and a duplex sky pavilion with views across the Thames. Front collaborated with the design team on this low carbon-emitting building envelope throughout schematic design and design development to contract award.
