The new College of Human Ecology sits atop a parking garage plinth, which is clad in locally sourced stone. The approximately 89,000 ft2 (8,268m2) facility provides new classrooms, laboratories, offices and common areas. The cladding system appears as a collage of different insulated glass unit sizes and is composed of translucent and clear vision glass panels and opaque spandrel glass panels. Front collaborated with the design team on the entire building enclosure from schematic design through bid negotiation.
