60 Wall Street
The repositioning of 60 Wall Street significantly redefines the experience for both visitors and tenants by transforming the ground floor of the 47-story, 1.6 million sq ft office tower. The renovation introduces a spacious public atrium, two new lobbies, and a redesigned podium exterior, all directly connected to the New York City Subway at Pine Street via a grand staircase. A defining feature of the transformed space is a 100-ft interior green wall—the largest of its kind in North America—that spans the full length of the block, enhancing the environment with natural elements. The redesigned Privately Owned Public Space (POPS) now functions as a key pedestrian link to the historic district, offering covered access from the subway. A new skylight above the atrium brings in natural light and visually connects the space to the trading floors above, while amenities such as a restaurant and café support a renewed sense of community in the neighborhood. New glazing, supported by glass fins spanning up to 50 ft, is featured, along with a mullionless and sloped fire rated glass wall overlooking the POPS space and green wall.
