The façade for this narrow 15-story condominium tower in Manhattan appears as a randomized arrangement of patterned spandrel glass and clear vision glass panels organized into 6 different stratified layers, which are visually divided by black anodized aluminum channels. These visual divisions in the façade additionally reflect the programmatic division between condominium units at the interior. Front consulted on the façade design from schematic design through design development and later consulted on the fabrication and delivery, developing and sourcing the artisan patterned glass, which was used throughout the façade where vision glass panels were not required. The primary façade system was stick-built; however, groups of insulated glass units were also fabricated and pre-assembled to be installed as mega-panels on-site to streamline construction.
