Located in Washington D.C.’s popular East End, this new office building welcomes visitors with a glassy entrance lobby, which is envisioned as a gallery-like space. The lobby facade systems are designed to maximize transparency and therefore maximize views of two adjacent parks, bringing the outdoors in. Front’s scope of work was limited to the lobby and entrance, including the frame-less exterior glass wall, interior glass partition, all-glass entrance doors supported by free-standing portal frames, and the white glass floors used throughout the lobby.
