Marc Simmons is a founding principal at Front. He is a licensed architect in New York State, and was the Associate Professor of Practice at MIT School of Architecture and held the Ventulett Chair of Architectural Design at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta). His specialist facade knowledge is built upon previous work at Foster + Partners, Meinhardt Facade Technology, and Dewhurst Macfarlane & Partners.

Bruce Nichol is a founding principal at Front. He holds a graduate diploma in Architecture and is a licensed architect in the UK. Prior to Front, he worked with Foster + Partners and Renzo Piano Building Workshop. He has also taught at Princeton University’s School of Architecture.

Elaine Yau is a licensed architect in New York and applies project management skills and technical knowledge gained through prior work on complex government and institutional projects to her role as the managing principal at Front.

Jeffrey Kock holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and a Master of Science (Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Materials Program), and is a registered architect (California). He is a team-builder who contributes to the technical excellence of the firm in his leadership role at Front.

Leo Henke earned his Masters degree in Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelor in Architecture from University of California, Berkeley, and is a registered architect (Texas). At Front, he applies his knowledge of the procurement process and provides leadership in curtainwall and facade system design.

Anthony Kantzas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. His prior experience as a facade engineer for a well-regarded curtainwall contractor includes structural, thermal, blast design for facades. He is an experienced project manager responsible for technical direction in his leadership role at Front.

Jeff Kim is a licensed architect in New York who specializes in large-scale, complex projects such as the Canadian House of Commons West Block Rehabilitation, 10 Hudson Yards, and the New Museum Expansion, focusing on custom curtain wall system detailing and specifications.

Lena Klein is an architect with Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Georgia Tech, specializing in BIM, Revit workflows, and ultra-high performance concrete. Her project experience includes 2000 South Ocean Tower, BAM South, and the Canadian House of Commons.

Natsuki Maeda is an MIT graduate and Imre Halasz Prize recipient, has contributed to projects like Google Bay View Campus and MIT Music Building, with expertise gained from firms like SOM and Toyo Ito, and international timber architecture studies.

Joseph Wassell is a licensed architect in New York with expertise in unitized curtain walls, project management, and cost consulting, holding degrees from the University at Buffalo. His notable projects at Front include the Krause Gateway Center and The Lindemann Performing Arts Center at Brown University

Alex Yau is a Computer Systems Analyst at Front, specializing in network security, workflow automation in 3D modeling, and CAM output for CNC fabrication. He configures systems, develops analytical tools, and assists staff to develop workflow automation in digital fabrication/CAM manufacturing environments.

Derin Yilmaz is a Georgia Tech graduate with degrees in architecture and landscape architecture, brings expertise in facade development, BIM, and environmental analysis, contributing to projects like the Space Needle Renovation, Pittsburgh Airport, and New Museum Expansion.

Haya Alnibari Haya is a Pratt graduate with extensive design experience, contributes 3D modeling, THERM analysis, and technical drawings at Front, working on notable projects like 262 Fifth Avenue, Princeton Colleges, and Bronx Museum Renovation.

Samuele Dalmaso is a member of Front’s technical team in Verona, specializing in thermal and structural engineering, multi-material product design, and procurement. His project experience includes work with Renzo Piano, BIG, MVRDV, and Asymptote Architecture.

Adam Nizich is a structural engineer with a Master’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada and a Bachelor’s with honors from IIT. He specializes in the design of structural glass, curved and bent glass units, specialized glazing applications, cable walls, and framing for various cladding materials. Adam has contributed to notable projects such as the Amazon Spheres, Grace Farms, and 2050 M Street in Washington, DC.

Miguel Otero Fuentes is a licensed architect in Florida, specializes in sculpture, facade detailing, 3D modeling, and design-engineering collaboration, with advanced degrees in Architecture, and contributions to major projects like Joslyn Art Museum, Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center, and Google Bay View Campus.

Jennifer Steffancin is a Senior Associate at Front with over 25 years of experience in Administration, Finance, and Account Management. As the Controller, she handles all financial analysis, ensuring accuracy and providing strategic insight to leadership.

Angie Door holds a Master of Architecture from MIT, contributing to a variety of projects in New York.

William Haddock is a member of Front’s technical team with expertise in structural analysis, simulation, and design for manufacturing. Previously a structures engineer at SpaceX, he has contributed to projects like One Third Avenue and Vero Beach Museum of Art.

Mariya Hoskins is Studio Manager at Front and a member / part of the administrative team. Before joining Front, she gained experience in the art world through roles at galleries, an art advisory firm, a museum, and an auction house.

Yoonjae Oh holds a Master of Architecture from MIT and a Bachelor’s in Housing and Interior Design. She specializes in Revit and facade system detailing, contributing to projects like 60 Wall Street, the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, MIT Music Building, and the Memphis Brooks Museum.
