Marc Simmons
is a founding principal at Front. A licensed architect in New York State, he brings over 30 years of experience in building envelope design. He has led the façade design for many seminal projects, including the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in Athens, the Canadian Parliament West Block in Ottawa, and the Perelman Center for the Performing Arts in New York. Marc has lectured widely at institutions including Harvard University, Columbia University, Princeton University, and the University of Toronto, among others. He served as Associate Professor of the Practice at MIT and held the Ventulett Chair of Architectural Design at Georgia Tech. Combining technical precision with architectural ambition, Marc advances innovative façade systems and fosters knowledge sharing, contributing to the evolution of both the architectural and engineering communities.

Bruce Nichol
is a founding principal at Front. He is a licensed architect in the United Kingdom and brings 35 years of industry experience, including over a decade working with Foster + Partners and Renzo Piano Building Workshop. Bruce has led the façade design for numerous high-profile projects, including the Pérez Art Museum in Miami, the Lewis Center for the Arts at Princeton University, and the Kimbell Art Museum expansion in Fort Worth. His work spans complex building envelopes and innovative architectural solutions that integrate technical rigor with design ambition. He has also taught at Princeton University’s School of Architecture and at Pratt Institute School of Architecture, sharing his expertise with emerging architects. Throughout his career, Bruce has advanced cutting-edge façade systems while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the architecture and engineering communities worldwide.

Elaine Yau
is the managing principal at Front and a licensed architect in New York State, bringing over 30 years of experience in architecture and façade consulting. She applies her extensive technical knowledge and project management expertise gained through work on complex government and institutional projects to the leadership and direction of the firm. Elaine oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and the successful delivery of projects, while also leading knowledge management and staff training initiatives to promote the dissemination of technical expertise across the office. Her leadership has been instrumental to the success of many of Front’s most complex projects, including the new Canadian Parliament House of Commons at West Block in Ottawa. She combines technical rigor with strategic vision, fostering excellence across both the firm and its projects.

Jeffrey Kock
is a principal at Front, bringing over 20 years of industry experience. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from Georgia Tech’s Mechanics and Materials Program, and is a registered architect in California. Jeffrey provides leadership in the design and delivery of complex façade and building envelope projects, contributing to the firm’s technical excellence and fostering collaborative, high-performing project teams. He has led projects including the Longwood Gardens West Conservatory, the Grace Farms River Building, and the Tianjin Juilliard School. His work integrates technical rigor with architectural ambition, emphasizing constructability, performance, and aesthetic quality throughout every project.

is a Principal at Front. Leo earned his Master’s degree in Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a licensed architect in New York and Texas and brings 20 years of industry experience. At Front, Leo provides leadership in curtainwall and façade system design and applies his expertise in the procurement process to guide projects from concept through execution. He has led key projects including the repositioning of 660 Fifth Avenue and Lever House in New York City, as well as cultural landmarks as the new Palmer Museum of Art at the Arboretum at Penn State University. His work combines technical precision with practical solutions, ensuring constructability, performance, and aesthetic quality.

is a principal at Front, bringing 20 years of experience in façade engineering and project management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and has specialized expertise in structural, thermal, and blast design for curtainwall and façade systems. Prior to joining Front, Anthony worked for a leading curtainwall contractor, honing his skills in complex façade engineering and project delivery. At Front, he provides technical direction and leadership on major projects, guiding design development, ensuring constructability, and integrating innovative solutions. He has led key projects including the Lindemann Center for the Arts at Brown University, the Manhattanville Forum at Columbia University, and the Krause Gateway Center in Des Moines, consistently combining performance, safety, and aesthetic quality.

is a licensed architect in New York who specializes in large-scale, complex projects such as the Canadian House of Commons West Block Rehabilitation, 10 Hudson Yards, and the New Museum Expansion, focusing on custom curtain wall system detailing and specifications.

holds a Bachelor of Science in engineering and is a Computer Systems Analyst with 20 years of experience in network security, systems design, and the development of custom tools. He provides technical support for operations and workflow automation, including special uses such as digital fabrication.

Adam Nizich
is a structural engineer with a Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada and a Bachelors with honors from IIT. He specializes in the design of structural glass, curved and bent glass units, specialized glazing applications, cable walls, and framing for various cladding materials. Adam has contributed to notable projects such as the Amazon Spheres, Grace Farms, and 2050 M Street in Washington, DC.
