The Joslyn Art Museum new addition is officially open

After a two-year closure, the Joslyn Art Museum has reopened, unveiling Snøhetta’s new expansion and renovation of the building. Front served as the facade consultant for the project, contributing to the development of the expansion’s entire facade. This included custom skylights, glazing systems, and the interfaces between the new facade and the existing structures. Front also played a key role in the design of the iconic sculptural cementitious rainscreen, which transitions seamlessly into a solar screen.
