Google’s new Bay View Campus opens

The recently opened Google campus in Mountain View, California. The forward thinking project aims to be carbon-free by 2030 features an all-electric and water-positive facility which also features 17 acres of natural woodlands, marshes, and wet meadows. The roof consists of dragon scale like canopies consisting of 90,000 solar panels, which maximize the amount of energy that can be harvested from the sun’s power, as well as escalating the amount of harvestable rain water for irrigation.
